Start with system behaviour.
Understand the protocol, runtime, or trust boundary before deciding what the problem ought to be.
About / Regaan R
I’m a security researcher and systems engineer based in Chennai, India. My work moves between vulnerability research, offensive tooling, language runtimes, and the practical engineering needed to make those ideas usable.
I founded Rot Hackers as an independent security research lab: a place to publish tools, disclosures, and technical work with enough detail for others to inspect and reproduce it.
01 / How I work
Understand the protocol, runtime, or trust boundary before deciding what the problem ought to be.
Tools expose assumptions quickly. Working code makes a research question concrete and repeatable.
Architecture, limitations, benchmarks, and failed assumptions are part of the work—not an appendix.
02 / Focus
Web and protocol security, vulnerability discovery, exploit paths, and evidence-backed assessment.
Fuzzers, compilers, interpreters, native tooling, concurrency, and low-level analysis pipelines.
Model red teaming, prompt search, evaluation methodology, evidence policy, and safe automation.
The next question
Open to thoughtful research, engineering, and teaching conversations.
